Are You Interested In What The Future of Investing Will Look Like?

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

image I just read a great article by Bill Gross on how the future of investing will depend on the future of the global economy.  The global economy will be defined by three things:  deleveraging, deglobalization and re-regulation.  These characteristics will lead to “slowing global growth, a heightened risk aversion, a distrust of conventional investment model portfolios, and a greater emphasis on surviving as opposed to thriving.“  His view is that the bull markets we had become accustomed to are over and that investing in this climate is “no longer child’s play”.  Read here.

Great post! I’m just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well - resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it’s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in this case.

There’s one more factor that will affect future of investing, free trade. This will affect investing as tax also has a role in global economy. Hopefully, it doesn’t bring bad effect to the future of investing

The re-regulation is, I think the most influencing factor of the future investing. People will have their new own way once regulations are being restructured. That way, there will be new behavior too in the way they invest their money.

the article is very insightful. I love to invest in equity and I hope it still good investment method in the future. The re-regulation will bring no benefit with lack supervision.

I think future investment will go very slowly, since the great recession that happened in all the worlds. I don’t see any improvement yet, at least for recent days. So, I guess, future investments, will be still the same like previous years. No change, but, not impossible, there some degradation along the way. | Milan Hotels

Future is uncertain, but it can still be predicted. To make an investment for the future, we must predict what kind of investment we will be taken.

Hey, what do you think about the future of investing? I can’t even thinking about it. I mean this horrible crisis ruins all of my expectation and prediction. So I’m here in the middle of nowhere.

Future is uncertain and we have to secure our life with some investment that will yield a good result in future. A detail study is required before investing anything.
