CardTrak.com tells you everything you need to know about credit cards. One of my favorite features is a search engine that helps you find the cards with the lowest interest rates and best benefits.

Kiplinger.com provides you with advice on managing your money and achieving financial security. It provides you with practical guidance on saving, investing, planning for retirement, paying for college, buying an automobile, home and other major purchases.  The website also includes interactive calculators, up-to-the-minute business news, stock quotes, and credit rates.

Mint.com is a simple budgeting platform that helps you manage your money online.  You can automatically download and categorize your monthly expenses.  The service will send an email alerts when you exceed a budget area for the month.

MyFDICInsurance.gov features a free EDIE (electronic deposit insurance estimator) tool that explains how much of your money is insured by the FDIC.  Want to find out if y our credit union is federally insured, go to:  National Credit Union Association.

MyFico.com lets you obtain your FICO score for a fee. Click on the Products link and choose FICO standard for $15.95.  Currently you can get a trial subscription for free which includes 2 FICO scores from Equifax.  The service will also send you alerts if your FICO score changes.

Myvelopes.com offers an online home based budgeting system that allows you to manage your spending.  This online budgeting software allows you to allocate your income into “envelopes” and then deducts various expenses from the appropriate envelope.

Quicken Online now offers an online version of Quicken for free.  Quicken Online automatically organizes your accounts in one place to simplify internet banking and give you a complete overview of your personal finances at a glance – also offers mobile access.

SelectQuote.com and AccuQuote.com sift through hundreds of term life insurance policies so you can compare rates and find the best deals from top companies.

Shoeboxed.com offers a suite of simple budgeting tools plus they have a unique mail in receipt scanning service.  For $9.95 per month you can send them your receipts and then view and organize them online.

SimplePlanning.net offers an array of Excel based worksheets for personal financial planning for a one-time fee of $9.95. The products include:  retirement, budgeting, mortgage and net worth calculators.
